Home is where the heart is, but where is my heart? My hometown is located in the east, my nearest and dearest to the west and I myself have migrated north. Where do I consider as home?
Well, obviously Jade HQ has relocated with me, but where do I really want to be?
Recently, I ponder over faces and memories associated with times gone past and they seem like a fond distant memory. I no longer have contact with the friends of my youth and I wonder what has become of them? Have they sucessfully achieved their dreams and fulfilled their desires, or like myself, have they changed the goal post as time has gone by?
When I was a child, I imagined that I would become a high flying business woman, like those portrayed so often in 80s television. Instead, Jade HQ is a normal, comfortable place to be with nothing special but we do not do without either (within reason). It makes me wonder why we work so hard to get more and more 'stuff'?
